Mike 2021 Square.jpg

Mike

Mike founded Hot House NH in 2019 after over a decade of practicing and teaching yoga. He started in the Bikram tradition, and teaches our Hot 26, Hot Pilates and Power Vinyasa classes. He is proud to have created a space where “no matter who you are, what you do, or what you believe, you are welcome here.” Mike is a multi-talented guy! He is also an accomplished singer-songwriter and guitar player. He spends a lot of time making music, whether it’s solo, with friends, or with his family, the Morris Family Band. He also loves incorporating music into his classes, combining two of his loves in one experience. Fun fact: Mike’s favorite color is (you guessed it) orange! “It’s comfortable and a little bit of a show off. Like me!” he says.

Michelle 2021.jpg

Michelle

Michelle says she is “literally in love with the Atlantic Ocean.” When you meet her, you’ll understand why. Michelle is open, direct and powerful. She enjoys the seasons and weather of NH as a reminder that “change is a constant gift.” Michelle’s classes reflect that energy and openness, and if you are considering trying Hot Yoga and Pilates, she says: “Breathe. Trust. Trust that your body will listen for cues on how to move.” Michelle is also a life coach, doTerra Essential Oil specialist and mixed media artist. A big fan of all things live and local, Michelle is at home in a yoga room, on a music stage or at a farm stand. And don’t forget to ask her about her “Oracle Deck!”

Jennifer 2021.jpg

Jennifer

Listen close, friends, because Jennifer has a message for you: In that moment when you say “Yes, I will try,” a whole world of new understanding, possibility and healing opens up to you! Come to class with Jennifer, and you’ll experience this for yourself, because she will give you that space. She is a mother of four, grandmother to one and friend to many. She like watching really funny movies that “make you laugh so hard that you can’t breathe.” She enjoys music that “moves you at your soul,” and is thankful for Shazam, the app that helps identify songs in the world around you. Trying Hot Yoga and Pilates for the first time? Jennifer asks you to allow yourself to be open to what a new day and a new experience can hold. “To breathe, to grow, to heal, to get stronger… for all things good.”

Tigger

Tigger is not a teacher here at Hot House NH. Tigger is a dog. Sometimes a puppy can help you do things that are challenging. You can do challenging things! We like cats, too!

Dawn 2021.jpg

Dawn

Dawn’s name kind of says it all! She’s here for YOU, every day, every time you walk through our doors. Whether it’s the 545AM Early Bird classes, a 430PM mid-week, or those few minutes after class in the lobby, Dawn will take the time to meet you right where you are. She took her first yoga class at the Racquet Club, right here in Concord, in 2005. She came to Hot House NH for the Power Vinyasa class and stayed for the “powerful practice, the hot room and the community.” Dawn is the inspiration for our newest classes: Yin Yoga, a wonderful compliment to the more athletic “Yang” styles of practice that are so prevalent in modern yoga. You may not know it at first meeting, but Dawn is a NE Patriots fan. If she had to choose between a yoga class and a trip to Foxboro? She says: “Hot Yoga. Sorry, Bill!”

Sara

If you’re heading into the studio from the Lakes Region, and hear Taylor Swift blasting from a passing car with Kali, the dog, riding in the back, it just might be Sara heading to class.  Sara secretly practiced at the studio for quite some time before letting us know she was a yoga teacher.  What an awesome secret!  If you’re considering trying class for the first time, Sara also has some awesome advice for YOU:  “Go for it.  Try to let go of expectations about the type of experience you think you should or will have, and hold space to be surprised.  Extraordinary things happen when we allow ourselves to be curious.”  Sara enjoys writing and standing on her head, but has yet to try both at the same time.  She also has this to say about Hot House NH:  “As soon as you walk through the door, there’s a sense of excitement that you can’t help but catch.”    Catch a class with Sara today, and let her share some of that excitement with YOU.

Becky

Over 15 years ago, Becky walked into the hot yoga room and realized that “stepping on a yoga mat was like a magic carpet ride!”  Your practice will help you develop the skills to enjoy the ride, and you never really know where it will take you.  She is still drawn to the powerful physical practice, the kindness of the people and the time she spends “exploring.”  If you are considering trying yoga or pilates for the first time, she has this simple advice:  “JUST DO IT!”

Becky has professional experience helping folks feel comfortable with new situations:  She is a first grade teacher.  If you are a little nervous about trying something new, come take a class with Becky.  She likes the color pink, baking treats for friends and pouring her energy into yoga for YOU. And if you have a pool, she’ll bring her paddle board over and show you Warrior One on the Water!
